Quad Cities Wedding PhotographyAmy + JJ
This season has been filled with so many beautiful Quad City weddings, and I love it! One of these may or may not even have a magazine publication feature coming up. Shh - you didn't hear that from me. And as I write this, I'm packing my bags to return to the Quad Cities for my last Moline wedding of the year. Whitey's - I'm basically buying out your entire store tonight, so get ready. ;)
I was thrilled to work with Amy and JJ on their wedding day. It was a beautiful day in the Quad Cities - perfect for an outdoor celebration along the Mississippi River. After riding off on their Vespa from the ceremony, Amy and JJ were ready to party at their Bass Street Landing reception. Tamara Wendt Design did it again and transformed an open outdoor plaza into a beautiful reception space. White strung lights were everywhere and the stage perfectly accommodated their live band that kept the party going all night. Shades of purple and greenery were everywhere to be found. Guests enjoyed playing bags and giant jenga, and the kids had fun writing "happy wedding day" messages in chalk along the sidewalk. It turned out exactly what they had envisioned: a laid back celebration with their closet friends and family. We had such a fun time being a part of their day. Congratulations to Amy and JJ!
