Cafe Brauer Wedding PhotographyNiki + Brian
During the afternoon of their wedding day, Niki and Brian met privately on Lincoln Park Zoo's Kissing Bridge to see each other for the first time. The crowds of people parted, and everyone watched and cheered for the happy couple as they shared an intimate moment together.
This Cafe Brauer wedding was such a joy to document and has easily become a new favorite of mine. After their first look, we enjoyed the weather and scenery around Lincoln Park for photos of the soon-to-be newly weds. The ladies' gray, chiffon gowns paired with the navy blue suits worn by the groomsmen flowed perfectly together for a chic and springy style. Niki's bouquet of white and pink peonies was just gorgeous! Their outdoor patio ceremony took place at Cafe Brauer. Niki's father escorted her down the aisle, and I have to say these are some of the most adorable father-daughter moments that I've seen.
After the ceremony, guests continued to enjoy the beautiful spring day with cocktails and h'orderves. The reception was held in the main ballroom of Cafe Brauer and I am still in awe over the beauty of this room. The Art Deco style, detailed ceiling, and gorgeous windows give the space so much character. Niki and Brian dressed the space with navy linens, white floral arrangements and candles. Before getting the party started, Brian recited a poem he wrote to Niki in front of all of their guests. It was so sweet! We had so much fun working with these two wonderful people. Niki and Brian, I hope you enjoy these photos!
