Ivy Room Wedding

So excited to be sharing this Ivy Room wedding today! I had been looking forward to Carrie and Pat’s wedding day ever since we worked together last fall for their engagement session. The day began at a private estate in Lincoln Park where the couple and their friends and family got ready together. Carrie and Pat met privately outside in the courtyard to take in all of the excitement. It was a perfect backdrop for such a sweet moment. From there, the bride and groom and their wedding party departed for the Ivy Room, where the celebration would take place. I finally had the opportunity to capture the famous Ivy Room balcony shot, which involved me scaling up a fire escape to a rooftop across the courtyard. I was pretty excited about it, to say the least! The ceremony and reception flowed by with ease as guests enjoyed hor d’oeuvres, cocktails, a delicious feast, dessert and dancing. We had so much fun capturing every moment! A big thanks to the amazing staff at the Ivy Room for all of their help throughout the day. We certainly hope to work there again soon!
