Chicago Loft WeddingMaryBeth + Houston
Early in their careers, TV producers, MaryBeth and Houston, met in LA while working together on a cheesy game show. While the TV show didn't last, they found each other and a love that will last a life time. Their Lacuna Artist Loft wedding was nothing short of a show stopper. It perfectly reflected their personalities and was filled to the brim with colorful details. MaryBeth's bridesmaids adorned long, chiffon gowns in an array of colors that perfectly coordinated together. The blushes, taupes, purples and grays looked dreamy next to MaryBeth's one shouldered lace and tulle gown. The men wore gray suits, and Houston sported a stylish paisley tie. He purchased unique and funky socks for each of his groomsmen, each pair to represent their personalities. MaryBeth and Houston chose the unique setting of the Berkshire Room for their intimate first look, with a side of High West Whiskey.
Their ceremony at St. Alphonsus was elegant and traditional. Happy tears were everywhere to be found during their ceremony. After the couple were announced husband and wife, they made a grand exit outside of the church, complete with bubbles. Family and friends were transported to Lacuna Artist Loft for the big celebration. The party began on Lacuna's massive city rooftop where guests sipped on cocktails and enjoyed the stunning views of Chicago. MaryBeth and Houston snuck away for a few more photo ops throughout the loft space. These have definitely become new favorites of mine! Their loft reception space was decorated with vibrant colors, whimsical details, a DIY photo booth, and one of the cutest sweet heart tables I've seen. MaryBeth and Houston made their grand entrance through the lift elevator and out onto the dance floor. Everyone was on their feet cheering for the newly weds. The white strung lights and candles set the tone for a beautiful evening. After a delicious feast, southern-inspired desserts, and many sentimental toasts, MaryBeth and Houston opened up the dance floor. The men shook a little salt on the floor, and then showed off their dance moves with a two step, honoring Houston's Texas roots. We LOVED being a part of this wedding day. Houston and MaryBeth - Thank you both so much for everything. I wish we could do it all over again. ;)
